Mr. Michael Sandow Ali serves as Chairman of ExGlo Foundation's Board of Directors, bringing extensive expertise in environmental protection and natural resource management. He currently holds the position of Director of the Mining Department at Ghana's Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), where he leads critical initiatives in mining regulation and environmental conservation. His deep understanding of environmental challenges facing Ghana's rural communities aligns perfectly with ExGlo's mission to create sustainable development solutions. Mr. Ali's leadership in environmental policy and regulatory frameworks provides invaluable strategic guidance to the Foundation's community-centered approach.
Professor Patience Aseweh Abor is the visionary founder and Executive Director of ExGlo Foundation. A Senior Lecturer at the University of Ghana Business School, she established the Foundation in 2012 with the mission of "extending God's love" to Ghana's most underserved communities. Hailing from Kayoro in the Upper East region, Prof. Abor's personal journey from rural Ghana to academia drives her passion for education, healthcare, and livelihood empowerment. Under her leadership, ExGlo has reached over 6,000 lives across 25+ communities in Ghana's northern and central regions, demonstrating her commitment to transforming lives through sustainable community development.
Professor Joshua Yindenaba Abor is a distinguished Financial Economist and Professor of Finance who brings exceptional academic and professional expertise to ExGlo's board. He is a former Dean of the University of Ghana Business School and Fellow of the Ghana Academy of Arts and Sciences. With a PhD in Finance from Stellenbosch University and coursework from Harvard University, Prof. Abor has extensive experience in development finance and serves on multiple corporate boards. His expertise in financial strategy and sustainable development financing provides crucial guidance for ExGlo's growth and sustainability initiatives.
Professor Justice Nyigmah Bawole is the current Dean of the University of Ghana Business School and a Professor of Public Administration and Management. He holds a PhD in Development Policy and Management from the University of Manchester and has over 30 years of experience in organizational leadership and development. Prof. Bawole's expertise in public sector reform, governance, and community development makes him invaluable to ExGlo's strategic direction. His extensive work with civil society organizations and community-based projects directly supports the Foundation's mission of sustainable community empowerment.
Mr. Samson Lardy Anyenini is a prominent legal practitioner, broadcast journalist, and advocate for transparency and good governance. He heads A-Partners@Law and is the renowned host of Newsfile, Ghana's most influential current affairs program on Joy FM. Winner of the 2019 GJA Journalist of the Year award, Mr. Anyenini holds a Master of Laws in Alternative Dispute Resolution and is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. His commitment to accountability, justice, and community empowerment aligns with ExGlo's values of transparency and sustainable impact in Ghana's rural communities.
