A shea butter making machine was purchased to help the Kayoro Women’s Association improve on their income generation that will eventually help to take care of their children in school. These women called on the foundation on one of our visits to the Kayoro Primary School, (where food items, cloths, and toiletries were presented in September, 2012) to help them with this machine which will enable them produce the sheabutter (which is their major income generating activity) in larger quantities for the market, so that they can sustain the upkeep of the children in school and the entire family. They were full of gratitude when the machine arrived in the village.
